Come and join like minded enthusiasts and meet and talk to other NZMCA members about their experiences with motorhome and caravaning. Another large rally will be organised to co-incide with the South Island Show in October. There will be a dedicated site located in the large carpark area by CBS Canterbury Arena and Addington Racecourse, perfect for easy access to the show.

DREAMING OF A CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE?

During the 2011 New Zealand Motorhome and Caravan show we will be hosting the Inaugural South Island Disc Bowls Tournament. This is your chance for you and a partner to lay claim to being the South Island Disc Bowls Champions!

Much like lawn bowls or Petanque, the Disc Bowl Competition will challenge pairs to see who's got the best eye. Each team has six discs to place as close as possible to the kitty. All the equipment will be provided but feel free to bring along your own Disc Bowls kit if you have one. Free entry is available to anyone with a Liberty Pass. Spot prizes are on offer along with a 'Best Dressed' Pair and 'Most Mature Competitor' Title. The Grand prize is valued at over $500 and will have bragging rights as the South Island Disc Bowling Champions!

Entry is free to anyone with a liberty pass, to enter grab a partner and email your names to discbowls@sual.co.nz or contact Jaimie on 0800-965-965. Alternatively you can register to enter when booking your rally site through NZMCA. There will be a prize giving ceremony including nibbles and drinks on Saturday afternoon.

The NZMCA national body is again organising a national rally to coincide with the expo. Bruce Stanger has been elected to be the co-ordinator. An application for site bookings can be made available by emailing Bruce at bsandhm@clear.net.nz or on 021-835-785

Please Note: any person looking at attending for the reason of selling their vehicle will need to reconsider, as we have a strict policy that you cannot display vehicles for sale. We would appreciate you co-operating in this matter. If you do have a vehicle for sale, please contact us as we have a dedicated private sale area within the Expo.
