New Zealand’s only Second-hand Motorhome & Caravan Show – A Huge Success in Year Two!

The CampSaver Second-Hand Motorhome & Caravan Show returned to the Great Lake Centre in Taupo on 1st & 2nd November 2025 for its second year, and what a show it was! Over 6,000 visitors came through the doors across the two-day event to explore an incredible selection of more than 200 second-hand motorhomes, caravans, campers, and even buses – making this year’s show bigger and better than ever.

Alongside the vehicles, visitors enjoyed a wide range of exhibitors showcasing everything from e-bikes to heaters, kayaks, and accessories to enhance life on the road. The NZMCA Seminar Series continued to be a popular feature, offering expert advice on buying second-hand, maintaining your vehicle, and making the most of the RV lifestyle.

The real stars of the show were the vehicles themselves. With such a vast array of brands, models, and price points, buyers were spoilt for choice. Many appreciated the unique opportunity to compare options and speak directly with owners, making purchasing easier and more affordable. For those looking to enter the market, the show offered substantial savings and plenty of inspiration.

Event Manager Michele Connell shared her excitement:
“Our second year has exceeded expectations. The interest from private sellers and the positive feedback from visitors has been incredible. We’ve seen strong sales and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the weekend. This event is fast becoming a ‘must-attend’ for anyone buying or selling their RV.”

As we look ahead, there’s a possibility the show may move to a new location next year to accommodate its growing popularity – so stay tuned for updates!
